We are one of the biggest breeders of Sport Horse Morgans in Europe, we have a superb selection of home bred Coloured Horses, a small number of TB horses, and a select stud of beautiful Welsh Mountain ponies. We also retrain a number of Racehorses each year.

Lagden Farm is situated among the wonderful unspoilt countryside of South Shropshire approximately 20 miles south of Shrewsbury and 20 miles north of Ludlow.

Our breeding policy whether it be for pure or part Morgans, Coloured, TBs or ponies is always to breed the best possible equine as regards conformation and movement but most importantly of all is to breed a horse or pony with a superb temperament.

Our retrained racehorses are sourced from just one trainer who ensures we have good looking, good moving horses that are above all very sane and very sensible.

We stand 3 Morgan stallions, TAPROOT GREEN MT. BOY, TAPROOT YANKEE DOODLE and MOSSROSE TRIUMPHANT.

Our Coloured stallions are AMAZING JIGSAW and ASHBANK PTOLEMY.GREEN CARD is our thoroughbred stallion.

Finally CROSSWAYS RA is our Sec A Welsh stallion.

Horses we have bred have been exported to many countries including Australia, USA,Sweden, Germany.Belgium, Italy, Holland and Northern and Southern Ireland.

We also breed Norfolk Terriers and can sometimes offer puppies for sale also black and tan Jack Russell terriers, please ask!
